陸渡街道成立于2019年9月5日，區域面積46.7平方千米，戶籍人口2.53萬人，流動人口3.79萬人，下轄小橋、岳南、紅廟、陸渡、橫瀝、洙涇6個村和陸渡、東城、珠江、向東島、翱翔5個社區。街道緊鄰上海，是太倉婁江新城所在地，將重點打造科技創新區、臨滬國際社區、智能制造區、高鐵商務區四大功能片區，隨著西工大、西交利物浦、通滬鐵路、南沿江高鐵等重點項目建設的推進，街道“城市副中心”的框架正逐步拉開。
Founded on September 5, 2019, Ludu Sub-District covers an area of 46.7 square kilometers with a registered population of 25,300 and floating population of 37,900. It has jurisdiction over 6 villages including Xiaoqiao, Yuenan, Hongmiao, Ludu, Hengli and Zhujing, and 5 communities including Ludu, Dongcheng, Zhujiang, Xiangdongdao and Aoxiang.Adjacent to Shanghai and as the location of the Taicang Loujiang New City, Ludu Sub-District will built four major function areas including the scientific and technological innovation area, the international community,, intelligent manufacturing area and the high-speed business district. With the development of key projects such as the NWPU (Northwestern Polytechnical University), the Xi 'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, the Nantong-Shanghai high-speed railway and the south Yangtze river high-speed railway Etc. the framework of Ludu Sub-District as the “deputy city center" is gradually opened.
