璜涇鎮(zhèn)位于太倉(cāng)市北部，擁有11.8公里長(zhǎng)江黃金岸線，是國(guó)家一類口岸太倉(cāng)港的規(guī)劃區(qū)。鎮(zhèn)域面積83.55平方公里，常住人口6.8萬(wàn)人，流動(dòng)人口約4萬(wàn)人。

先后獲得“中國(guó)化纖加彈名鎮(zhèn)”、“中國(guó)產(chǎn)業(yè)集群經(jīng)濟(jì)示范鎮(zhèn)”、“中國(guó) 縣域產(chǎn)業(yè)集群競(jìng)爭(zhēng)力100強(qiáng)”、“國(guó)家衛(wèi)生鎮(zhèn)”、“全國(guó)環(huán)境優(yōu)美鎮(zhèn)”、 “中國(guó)民間文化藝術(shù)之鄉(xiāng)”、“江蘇省文明鎮(zhèn)”、“省公共文化服務(wù)體系 示范區(qū)”、“江蘇省農(nóng)業(yè)現(xiàn)代化示范鎮(zhèn)”等榮譽(yù)稱號(hào)。

Located at northern Taicang, with an 11.8-km shoreline along the Yangtze River, Huangjing Town is part of the planned area of the Taicang Port, which is a National Class-A Port. It covers an area of 83.55 square kilometers, with permanent resident population of 68,000 and a floating population of about 40,000.

It has won a number of titles, including Famous Chinese Town for Chemical Fiber Flexibility Enhancement, China Industrial Cluster Economic Demonstration Town, Top 100 Most Competitive County- level Industrial Clusters, National Sanitary Town, National Beautiful Town, the Home of Folk Culture and Art of China, Culturally Advanced Town of Jiangsu Province, Public Service System Demonstration Zone of Jiangsu Province, and Agricultural Modernization Demonstration Town of Jiangsu Province.
