雙鳳鎮(zhèn)位于太倉西部，是江南歷史文化名鎮(zhèn)，被譽(yù)為“太倉之根”，境內(nèi)有距今4500多年的維新良渚文化遺址。全鎮(zhèn)總面積62.6平方公里，轄9個村民委員會、5個社區(qū)居民委員會，全鎮(zhèn)常住人口7.2萬人，戶籍人口3.1萬人。
    雙鳳文化底蘊(yùn)深厚、宗教歷史悠久，享有"中國民間文化藝術(shù)（龍獅）之鄉(xiāng)”、"中國羊肉美食之鄉(xiāng)”等美譽(yù)，曾榮獲全國環(huán)境優(yōu)美鄉(xiāng)鎮(zhèn)、國家衛(wèi)生鎮(zhèn)、國家生態(tài)鎮(zhèn)等稱號。
    Located at western Taicang，known as a famous historic and cultural town and “the root of Taicang”. Shuangfeng is home to the Weixin Liangzhu Cultural Relics, which has a history of more than 4,500 years. Covering an area of 62.6 square kilometers, consists of 9 villager committees and 5 community residents' committees.The permanent population is 72,000 and the registered residence population is 31,000.
Shuangfeng has a profound cultural heritage and a long religious history, and is renowned as the "hometown of Chinese folk culture and art (dragon and lion)" and "hometown of Chinese lamb cuisine". It has been awarded titles such as National Beautiful Environment Town, National Health Town, and National Ecological Town.
